Thanks again to Halo for the huge donation of Dog and Cat food.
They are responsible for helping save thousands of dogs and cats.
With their generous donations, they are helping feed so many of them. Pet Orphans has noticed a big difference on the health of our orphans, because feeding them premium pet food not only makes their coats nice and shiny but the overall health and well being of them. We can not thank them enough and during some hard times when donations were down, receiving free food has helps us considerably. Please show them some love back and try their pet foods. You will see such a difference in your pets health. Take it from us, we can see such a big difference in just a year. We want our adopters to know that part of the reason our dogs and cats are so healthy, is due to the food they get. Support Halo, because they care and give back to help shelters
Pet Orphans has some very sad news to share- Diane Scripps, co founder of Pet Orphans passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She died peacefully at home with her loved ones. Diane was an amazing woman and with her good friend Virginia Haley, they created a safe place for dogs and cats. They rescued and saved thousands of animals, that would have been euthanized. Diane was involved with Pet Orphans for 43 years, until the day she passed away. She will be greatly missed and was a true pioneer in the rescue world. Even in recent years, there has never been, nor will be a place like Pet Orphans.
In lieu of flowers, Ms Scripps requested a donation in her honor.
We will miss you Diane but your legacy will always remain a huge staple in the community. All of the orphans thank you from the bottom of their hearts. RIP Diane.
