Now that I'm finished nursing my babies, I'm so ready to be adopted. I'm excited at the prospect of going home and living the rest of my life with the people who will care for and cherish me. I'm thrilled that some of my kids have found homes already and I'm hoping that the rest of them will soon be packing their bags and going to their permanent homes. Now, back to me. I'm so easygoing and eager to do things to please people that you'll be astounded at how easy I am to get to know and train. I already know how to perform some basic commands, like "sit." You'll just have to come to meet me so that you can find out what else other commands I'm able to obey. I'm also looking forward to learning more stuff that will make you happy and proud that I'm your girl. I'm looking for someone who's willing to accept my adoration and live the rest of their lives knowing that they have a canine child who believes that they are the most wonderful people ever. I know that dogs like myself often have a not so great reputation, but if you'll just give me the opportunity, I'll prove to you what an exceptional girl I am. I know that my babies will get homes, but I've already gotten my girlish figure back and I need some people to cherish. I could be a roomie with another dog, but best of all would be adult humans. A super active and affectionate canine, I want to discover what it feels like to PERMANENTLY belong with experienced dog people who truly care about me. I'm so grateful that I'm being fostered and that I'm learning proper "in home" behavior. I truly appreciate the fact that I no longer reside in a kennel run. BUT....I'd be even more happy and relieved to know that I'm living in the environment that I'll be in for the rest of my life. I've had lots of training and even if I do have a few behavioral issues, I'm a young, super guy who deserves a forever home. I absolutely adore spending time with people and I used to get all excited when someone stopped in front of my kennel run. My heart would race at the thought of being taken out for some quality time with a human who will see me for the extraordinary fellow I am. Now, I'm extremely fortunate to be in a foster home and I'm finding out what it's like to truly be part of a family who loves me. I'm also learning appropriate "in home" behavior. There's not too much I can tell you about myself that you can't already see by my adorable picture here. What I can let you know is that I was abandoned at a Dog Park. I was so frightened…all alone and not knowing where I'd get my next meal. Fortunately for me, the kind people who found me, contacted Pet Orphans and were lucky to get me a space here. Now, I can wait in comfort for my new, permanent guardians to come and claim me. Hi, I'm Trevor. I was at Pet Orphans a very long time ago and I got adopted. It was great, living in my own home, but, suddenly, I was an orphan again. OUCH...THAT HURT! You know, I'm grateful beyond words that I'm being fostered in a wonderful home...with fabulous people. But, I still miss knowing that I am truly in the home where I belong...and will belong forever! I'm timid when I first meet people and I'm crossing my paws that this doesn't deter you from taking the time to get to know me. Once I'm comfortable with folks, I'm a real love bug who will look up at you with pure, unconditional love in my big, brown eyes. It will definitely be worth your while to give me the time I need to warm up. Being in the arms of someone who will share a couple of kisses and hugs with me, is glorious and I have many years of blissful togetherness to share with my new, permanent guardians. Just think...I've been living in a home for awhile now, so I'm used to it and this will make my transition to your home easier! There are other dogs in my foster place, so that shouldn't be a problem. In fact, bring your current doggie along here and let us meet. I just can't wait to have the opportunity to prove what a gem I am. I'll be thrilled to be the one who brightens up your day with my charms and undying devotion. If you saw me lying in a forest, you might think I was a little fawn or perhaps a mystical creature with these enormous ears. But it's part of what makes me special. I'm a Chihuahua mixed with something that gave me this amazing ebony coat. I'm such a feminine little thing – you could almost carry in your pocket. I'm not even a year old yet, but I already have an appreciation for the finer things in life. I could curl up in your lap in the evening and watch some "Animal Planet"…all right, "American Idol" – whatever you say, I'm agreeable!

Here I am, an orphan who's longing for a permanent home where I can celebrate life with people who truly care about me. I ache for love and commitment from my very own humans. I'm truly fortunate to be fostered by terrific people, and I've learned how to act appropriately in a home environment. I'm extremely well behaved inside of the house and I'll follow you anywhere, waiting to bestow some doggie loving upon you. It's so nice to find out what it's like to be cared about and cared for. The people at Pet Orphans do all they can to meet our needs, make us comfortable and feel loved, but there's so many lonely orphans, it's just not the same. A place to call my own...for the rest of my days..that's all I want...that's all I need. I simply can't comprehend why somebody hasn't claimed me to be their very own, permanent doggie pal yet. I'm really a loving, loyal, little girl who will bring enormous amounts of happiness your way. With many years left to share all the love I have inside, all I want to do is be by your side and share your existence with you. Pet Orphans will pay for an in home training session and that will help the transition as well. I will feel so blessed when I'm adopted. I'm serious when I tell you that I'll spend every minute of my life, heaping gratitude and affection upon my family. You'll never regret your very wise decision to adopt me.
