DO NOT SEND ANY E-MAILS OR CALL Pet Orphans ABOUT THESE PETS – we will have no additional information to provide you. All information has been provided by the program participants. Beau is a one year old, unaltered Male American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is friendly and loves to be around people, playful, and is great with kids. Beau weighs about 60 lbs and would do best at a home with a backyard. If interested in adopting please contact Lauren at 310.648.9069. "Boy" looks like a corgie yellow lab mix, but it is hard to tell, he is 25 pounds, a little bit low to the ground, has a tan body with white paws and a white stripe on his forehead. He was found running through traffic on a busy highway, and was almost killed by cars swerving to avoid him. He was wearing a black collar with no tags, a red nylon leash and a black bandanna. My husband picked him up and drove all around the area to see if anyone was looking for him, then tried the local shelter, but they could not assure him the dog would not be euthanized after a few days so he bought him home. We have tried to locate the owner via Craigslist and calling several shelters but no one is claiming him. Our vet checked him out, he has no microchip, appears to be between 2 and 4 years old, and is in good health. He is not neutered but we will pay for his surgery if someone is willing to adopt him. Boy is a very sweet dog, extremely affectionate, rides quietly in the car, loves kids and other dogs and loves to play tug-o-war. He is housebroken, whines to us when he wants to go outside and has not had any accidents. He does not bark at all, only cries quietly when we lock him up for the night but then goes to sleep. We cannot keep him because our border collie is extremely aggressive with other dogs and would hurt him if she could, she is very jealous. Also, I have a mother with dementia in the house and she can't remember to keep the doors closed that separate the animals so things are chaotic because of that situation. Is anyone willing to open their heart to this lovely sweet soul? We have grown to love Boy and you will too. Any feel free to change his name!! He isn't attached to it. This beauty here is Fawn! She's a healthy, playful 2 year old, 55 pound spayed female pit bull that was abandoned at an animal hospital. After being taken in by the staff, they discovered that Fawn was pregnant. Shortly thereafter, she gave birth to 10 lil' pups who all quickly found forever homes. Sadly, Fawn was still left at the hospital. Having been abandoned, she'll need some extra love and an experienced pit bull owner with no other animals to give her the amazing life she deserves. If you're interested please contact John Combs at VCA Miller Robertson Animal Hospital. You can call 310.657.7050 OR email john.combs@vcahospitals.com. Roger is the world’s happiest dog!

She is good with other dogs and kids. She's never been around cats. She was rescued at a Walmart parking lot by my husband then he became ill and wasn't able to continue training her. PEPEPEPE
Pepe is a healthy young male chihuahua. He is intact but were are in the process of getting him neutered and he will not be transferred until this has been completed. Pepe was found wandering the streets of Wilmington on 3/29. When we first saw him, he was playing with the neighborhood kids so we thought nothing of it. When it started getting late we noticed none of the kids were taking him home. We leashed Pepe and knocked on the doors of our neighborhood and no one claimed ownership. We've had signs up since 3/30 and no has claimed him. Pepe is very affectionate and playful. He loves to play with other dogs but is just as happy taking a nap in the arms of his people. He is in the process of learning his name and being house trained - both of which are coming along nicely. We would love to keep him, but just cannot as we have four other dogs.

ROGERROGER
Roger is an approx. 5 year old neutered Jack Russell Terrier mix, that is up to date on his shots. He is approx. 20 lbs. Roger LOVES EVERYBODY!! He is a happy outgoing guy that has great enthusiasm for life. Roger is the perfect example of "right dog, wrong family". Roger was adopted from a shelter with good intentions, but his family realizes that he deserves more time than his family has to offer. If you are interested in adopting Roger, please contact Katie at crumbsinthecouch@gmail.com or Ashlee at lovetotrot@yahoo.com
