FOUND A STRAY
If you find a dog or cat and are not sure what to do, please read the
what
to do if you find a stray page which offers some suggestions and where you can go for help. After
reading the section, if you end up rescuing the dog, or in circumstances where individuals need to
re-home their own pet, our Private Adoption Assistance Program is available free to participants and
prospective adopters.
PRIVATE ADOPTION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
As our space allows, Pet Orphans rescues dogs and cats from city and county shelters, and then provide
them with the highest quality care until a loving, permanent home is found for them. Due to our limited
space, we usually are full and will not be able to take in your animal, to inquire about Pet Orphans
space availability, you can submit a request on the
pet relinquishment form.
For individuals (“Participants”) who find it necessary to re-home a dog or cat, or for
those who have rescued an animal and have been unsuccessful at locating the owner, we offer the
opportunity for them to spotlight the dog or cat on this website in an effort to assist them with
finding a new home. (Please read the section on Re-homing a Pet for
further information.)
For dogs and cats that meet the following criteria, we will include a photo of the animal and a brief
informative description. There is no cost for this program to the Participant or prospective adopters,
and we will assume administration of the website. However, due to the lack of staff to handle calls
about this program, we ask that the PARTICIPANTS AND PROSPECTIVE ADOPTERS NOT CALL
Pet Orphans.
These are private adoptions and prospective adopters need to contact the Participant listed for
further information.
PARTICIPANTS:
Before submitting a pet for inclusion, be sure that the pet meets the criteria listed below:
The pet MUST be spayed or neutered before being submitted to Pet Orphans Private Adoption
Assistance Program website. (Exceptions to sterilization include medical conditions or if under 6
months of age).
The pet must be current on required shots.
The rescuer has made all possible attempts to find the original owner.
Furthermore, prior to submitting a pet for inclusion, the Participant agrees:
Not to contact Pet Orphans by phone, but may e-mail corrections and updates on the pet bio.
To immediately notify Pet Orphans of Southern California by e-mail upon the successful adoption of
the pet, and provide information on where the adopter learned of the pet.
To submit your pet for inclusion, please send an e-mail to
Alexis@petorphans.orgwith an attached digital
photograph of the pet. If submitting more than one pet, the file must be saved with the pet's
name. Also include a complete description of your pet,
including the current name, breed, sex, age, weight and information on the temperament and health of
the dog or cat. Also list your name, telephone number and/or e-mail address where you can be contacted
or receive messages from prospective adopters. We will be unable to include the pet without the
above information.
Suggestions for Participants: Following is a “Pledge for New Dog Adopters” which we
recommend you read, print out and utilize when screening prospective adopters. Most of the points are
also appropriate for the adoption of cats.
PLEDGE FOR NEW DOG ADOPTERS
I pledge to make a reasonable commitment of time and effort, and to affect scheduling and lifestyle
changes in order to make this relationship work.
I pledge to make sure my dog is not exposed to the elements of weather without proper shelter,
shade cover, dry ground, access to fresh water and at least 1 hour of loving companionship and play
a day. (I understand this is a minimum and will strive to keep the dog with me as much as possible
and treat him/her as an important member of my family.)
I pledge to provide appropriate and timely veterinary care for the life of my dog.
I pledge to provide my dog with the proper nutrition for optimum health, and to keep my dog the
proper weight, neither obese nor emaciated.
I pledge to keep this dog indoors at night, and to include him/her in the activities of the household
while we are home, as much as possible.
I pledge to keep my dog groomed and free of external parasites and matting (particularly behind my
dog’s ears, under his elbows, his tail and thighs).
I pledge to spay or neuter my dog, if he/she is not already done.
I pledge to give my dog ample aerobic exercise daily, and make sure that at least three times a week
he gets to run and play and get tired out.
I pledge to provide my dog with mental stimulation in the form of either play, interactive toys,
training, or off-territory leash walks, DAILY.
I pledge to provide my dog with enough training and/or behavioral management so as to enable him to
be a welcome part of my community, or managed safely.
I pledge to provide my dog ample outlets for his instincts (such as off territory leash
walks/running, opportunities to sniff and explore the natural world, agility training, trick
training, fun and rewarding obedience training, play with other dogs, etc.) so that he does not feel
constantly frustrated, or develop behavioral problems because he is neglected or under-stimulated.
I pledge to provide a home in which my dog clearly knows there are certain rules to which I will
insist on and he can count on.
I pledge to provide my dog with enough toys to satisfy his urge to chew.
I pledge to get professional help if my dog has or develops behavior or temperament problems, and, if
safe, to manage my dog carefully so as not to endanger the people and other pets in my community.
I pledge to do everything I can to keep my dog from becoming a nuisance in my community.
I will not allow him to run free/out of my control, chase cars, bicycles, children, etc.
I will seek professional help to get my dog to be quiet, or keep him quiet both when I am home and
away, so as not to disturb my neighbors.
I pledge to “scoop poop” from my dog when off my property, so that my dog and other dogs
will always be welcome in public.
I pledge that if I have to move residences for any reason, I am aware that finding housing that
accepts pets can take longer than average, but that I will commit to moving with my dog, as I would
move with a member of my family.
I pledge that if, for any reason, I can no longer keep this dog, I will not abandon this dog, and I
will return the dog to the shelter (if adopted from a rescue shelter) or leave ample time to find a
new, appropriate home, tell the new owners truthfully all the dog’s behaviors, good and bad,
and follow up occasionally to make sure the dog is safe and content.
PARTICIPANTS AND PROSPECTIVE ADOPTERS:
In order to be able to provide this FREE service to the public, it is important that the Participants and
prospective adopters recognize Pet Orphans does not have the staff to handle incoming calls regarding
these pets. Furthermore, these animals have not been met by any representative of Pet Orphans and we have
no knowledge of their health, temperament, history, etc., and as such, Pet Orphans assumes no liability
for these animals.
PROSPECTIVE ADOPTERS:
If you are interested in one of the animals that appears on our Private Adoption Assistance Program web
pages, YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE RESCUER DIRECTLY. Do not contact Pet Orphans
as we will not be able to provide you with any information on the pet or Participant.
Suggestion to Prospective Adopters:

ACE
ACE
Breed: Tabby short hair
Sex: Male
Age: 4
Weight: 12 lbs.
Temperamant: Independent and loving and affectionate all in one!! Does not like dogs.
Alexandra (Alex) and Maxine (Max) – both females, born in Sept 1996 in the same litter; long
hairs, not sure of the breed. Alex is a black/gold mix, Max is black; both have white chests and
boots. Both have the same green eyes.
VETERINARY HISTORY: They have received all immunizations, grooming, fix surgery and exams at
Center Sinai in Mar Vista. They have never been sick.
HAIRBALLS/GROOMING: Since they are both long hairs, hairballs can be a problem during the summer
months, so I always get them summer cuts (excluding the head and boots) at Center Sinai (they
look funny afterward, and I have tons of photos). They tend to hiss at each other for a day or
two after every vet visit. I've boarded them before and they can share a cage. (See also Social
History)
SCRATCH HABITS: Alex loves the sisal scratching post, and I always encourage her by saying "good girl".
Max tends to like the bottom of the cat condo, and scratches that. They both like laying/sleeping in the sun-drenched
part of the floor by the window.
DIET: They exist on a diet of Friskies dry food and water (I give them the same water I drink – filtered or bottled).
I give them only canned Friskies on special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas; they go absolutely crazy for
any canned-food-opening sound so be cautious when opening tuna or Vienna sausages for yourself. I rarely give them human
food (chicken, tuna, beef), and only if chopped very fine. They eat out of the same container. For treats, they like the
soft Pounce from the can (not the package); they will actually stand on two paws for it.
PERSONALITIES: Max is "all cat". Timid, smart, alert and suspicious by nature. She will allow herself to be
held while you're sitting, but for short bursts if you're standing. She likes to smell the new people – especially their
hair. She will occasionally let you pet her and groom her – but most times only after she sees Alex getting most of the
attention. She peeps instead of meows.
Alex, the mix, is the more affectionate of the two. She is like a puppy and greets you daily at the door. You can hold her
for long periods. She LOVES having her head, chin and ears rubbed. She is the first in line when it's brushing time. She is
the heartiest eater of the two, and hence a pound or 2 heavier than her sister. Occasionally I would let the food run out
(my fault) and when I replenish the bowl, Alex sometimes gorges herself and then vomits chunks of the residual (this has
happened twice in my memory), but she has no problem with this normally. Alex tends to be fearless and people-oriented and
accepts anything you do. She has a hearty meow – especially when hungry.
SOCIAL HISTORY: They LOVE people. They get along well together and actually groom each other, and cuddle during most sleep
times. I've had them from about 3 weeks of age. They have lived with me from spacious apartments with their own bed and bath,
to the smaller condo I live in now; I keep their litter box in the shower in my spare bath, but when I had one bath I kept it
in the bathtub. They are totally indoor and have their claws, but they like to explore so I have to make sure I keep my 6th
floor balcony door closed. They were routinely in the company of a dog years ago without any problems. Since they are 10 years
old, although healthy, most of their wild mischievous ways have passed on, but Max is the sprightlier of the two. Alex is content
to just sit watch everything you do out of seeming affection; Max watches as if she is plotting some sort of escape, but for some
reason she has become more affectionate this past year. Don't waste a lot of money with expensive toys; they like chasing string
with a bow on the end, swiping at my necktie when I hang it over their heads.
LITTER HABITS: They share the enclosed litter box. After many trials, I settled on the FreshStep scoopable carbon-based cat litter.
They have the type of box that they crawl into because they like to "kick" the litter during the covering process. They
seem to like this best. They have NEVER gone anywhere except in the litter box.
I have two cats that need a great home. One is a 15 pound, short haired tabby male named BeBe. He is
7 years old, fixed, and very sweet- and he loves to be cuddled and brushed. The other is named Madeline.
She is 1.5 years old with medium hair and weighs about 7 pounds. She is also fixed, very sweet and
curious! Both are in excellent health and they are in need of a new home or homes ASAP.
All the cat's have been neutered and spayed, checked for kitty diseases and are negative for kitty
aids and leaukemia. They all had their shots.
We think the black one should have a cute name like skipper. Also a 8 mos. male who was rescued from
the pound. He is very loving and playful loves having his belly rubbed. Loves other cat's and is
dog friendly as well.

BOOTOO
BOOTOO
This beautiful boy was found wandering near my home. No one in the area has claimed him and he is
now in need of a new home. He will follow you around the house and cuddle in your lap. Getting along
with other cats and dogs. He is so friendly, I am sure he will do great with children. About one
year old, neutered with shots. Adoption fee.
I have two brother cats that I can no longer keep. My son has allergies. It breaks my heart, but we
have to get rid of Bullwinkle and Rocky.
We adopted them as kittens four and a half years ago. Their former owners couldn't keep them. I
promised them to keep the two cats together. They have an amazing sibling bond. I really want them
to be adopted together, I think they would not be okay without each other.
Bullwinkle is the bigger and more black one. He is affectionate and once he gets to know you, likes
to cozy up to you and has a huge purr. Rocky is the smaller, whiter one. He is very bonded to my
son, sleeps next to him every night. Rocky is more timid than Bullwinkle, and needs a calm
environment. (He is not good around crowds, and has been known to pee when stressed by big groups of
teenagers in the house, something that happens here.)
I really hope you can help me. I do not wish to take these cats to the shelter (certain death
sentence!) but I cannot keep them. I can be reached at 323-225-3321, or at email
crohman1@yahoo.com
thank you so much,
Connie

I'm a male kitten and looking for my forever home. I get along well with other cats, and have the
cutest face ever!

I have rescued two cats that were abandoned at the pet groomers in Santa Monica. I am never, never
home due to my work schedule and, as much as it breaks my heart, think they would be better off
where someone (or someones) are around a bit more.
They are brothers. They are neutered. About a year old. I have supplies I could donate.

Chloe have an amazing sibling bond.
CHLOE is a beautiful tortoiseshell 3.5 year old female. She has lovely markings and a sweet
personality to match. She is very affectionate, loves to be petted and snuggles in bed with you for
chin rubs. She is current on her shots, spayed and micro chipped. She and her brother Gizmo have
been together since birth and are very bonded. It would be great if these two could be adopted out
together.
Both the cat's have been checked for kitty diseases and are negative for kitty aids and leukemia.
They are up to date with all routine shots.
COAL is looking for a home. He is around seven months old and has been neutered, vaccinated and
de-wormed. Coal is the friendliest kitty I have ever met. He loves people and other cats and would
be fine living with dogs as well. He is very gentle and loving. He is very playful and would love a
kitty companion who he can play with. He seems to adapt to a new environment easily.
Coal is waiting for a family to call his own! If you are interested, please e-mail me at

Please include "Coal" in your subject line so I know your e-mail is not spam.

ELLY MAY
ELLY MAY
Elly May is a perky 5-month-old girl who was born in July, 2007, along with her brother, Jethro, in
a garage in the hills of Beverly Hills. Although her birthplace is known for luxury and beauty, Elly
May faced a difficult life trying to find food while avoiding the many dangers of her neighborhood.
Brave little Elly May was very lucky to be rescued by a Good Samaritan, and now this sweet gal is
safe in a foster home. Elly May is a playful, curious kitten with a big, rumbling purr. A bit shy at
first, this lovely young lady enjoys being petted and loved once she gets to know you. Elly May is
spayed, tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped.

FRITZ
FRITZ
3.5 years, Male, DSH, White & Black
Fritz was born in our back yard, so I have been with him all the time. He will be four years old
on September 1.
He is more social than many cats, since he was brought up with a Golden Retriever. He seemed to
think the dog was his mother, and snuggled up with him. He loves to snuggle up with people too, and
loves to be pet. He is mischievous and loves to search for any food that is around.
He has been a loving cat, cute and full of energy. He has always been an inside cat, and he is
trained to use a cat box. He has been neutered.
I would be happy to provide any further information.

HARRY
HARRY
Harry is approximately 6 to 7 years old. He is very loving and affectionate and purrs like crazy,
but may do better in a home where he is the only cat. Harry started to come around our home
approximately 4 years ago and was very shy so we fed him outside. Harry eventually started to come
into the house and staying at night, but then stopped for about a year. In early April 2007 he had
been in a fight and was probably feeling very unwanted and unloved. But when I opened the door, he
ran in and has been here ever since. Since then, Harry has seen Dr. Rabinner at Alamo Veterinary
Clinic in Simi Valley and has been neutered, de-wormed, has all of his shots and is ready to go
home.
My name is Honey and I am approximately 4 years old – maybe 5.
If you are a patient parent and let me have a 2 week adjustment period you will see that I can be very
loving and loyal. I do not like male cats. I get along with a younger female cat that I live with now.
I also used to live with a small dog so should be OK with that as long as I have a place to keep up high.
Also, I do not get along with small children.
My current parent has me on high quality grain-free wet food and I have lost weight and my fur is shiny
as ever. I also smell much better and throw-up very rarely.
If you adopt me I come with a litter pan, some favorite toys, a case of all the different types of food I
like to eat and my favorite small one story kitty condo. (but I like to be up high – so if you have a
tall one, that would be extra great for me!) Also, a pre-adoption vet exam will be given.
Please call Bridget at 818-823-5577. She will give you all kinds of details
about me and she can arrange a house visit to see if I might like it there.
I KNOW I will be a great addition to your life and you to mine.

KIMBA
NALA
AMBER
KIMBA, NALA & AMBER
The following three cats were left to me by my mother who could not take them with her when she
moved into an assisted living environment.
"KIMBA" (gold and black striped with white feet) personality is very social and friendly
to people and with other cats. He's about 6 months old and he's been neutered.
"NALA" (gold and black striped) is Kimba's sister, but for some reason she is very shy.
I've worked with her and she's come a long way (she'll jump up on my bed next to me, but won't let
me pet her), but there's a boy kitty in the house that likes to play-chase her and it really
doesn't help the situation. Nala has a lot of potential and gets along with other kitties as long
as they're not big boys that think it's fun to chase her :-) She is about 6 months old, but has
not been spayed yet.
"Amber"(orange and black) is a sweetie. She gets along with the other cats and is found curled up with them frequently. She also likes people,
but just wants to get to know you first…then she'll sleep curled up next to you if you let her and you can hold and pet her. She is about 7 months old
and has been spayed.
I have two cats that need to find a loving home (not necessarily together). In the picture, Lilly
(female) is the darker and Elliot (male) is orange. I will be moving out of state soon and living
with friends, and will be unable to take them with me. I'll be here for the next month or so.
Both are about 5 years old (unsure of exact age as they were rescued from a shelter) fixed, and
clawed. They are up to date with shots. Lilly is 12 lbs and Elliot is slimmer at 10. Lilly is
extremely affectionate. Elliot is a little less social but very playful.

LOLA
LOLA
This lovely young lady is Lola. Born in mid-March, 2006, she was abandoned in a box when she was
just a little kitten, but things are definitely looking up now that she's in a loving foster
situation. Lola is a low-key, friendly gal with an independent streak. She likes to be pet, and
responds with a big, rumbling purr. Lola has a chirpy, sweet little meow, and loves to greet her
foster mom with a pretty song every morning. She would love a special someone who will appreciate
her independent nature and allow her to come when she wants, in her typical kitty fashion. Lola
will reward her adopter with a lifetime of love, purrs and good times. Lola is spayed, microchipped,
tested, vaccinated, dewormed and litter box trained. For more information, please contact

MAC AND CHIPPER
MAC AND CHIPPER
Spayed female cats, Mac (age 10) and Chipper (age 7). They are indoor cats and are healthy and get
regular vet check ups. Unfortunately, since we had a baby and got a dog last year, they haven't
been able to adjust and are urinating all over the house. We have had them checked medically and
have already tried every behavioral technique suggested to us by vets and animal behavior
specialists. This has been happening constantly for the past year, and we are at our last resort.
Please feel free to contact us at this e-mail address

Thank you!

MADDIE
MADDIE
Maddie is a very loving 5 year old cat, that I must find another home for because she's not doing
well with my other cat. She would do best as the only cat in the house, though she doesn't have a
problem with dogs. She would love to have someone home with her in the day, as she lives for
curling up with you to take a nap. She's a 10 lb, domestic long hair, declawed in the front, and
spayed, has always been healthy, and up to date on her shots. It kills me to let her go, but I want
to find her happy home. Please email

MAGGIE
MOOKY
MAGGIE and MOOKY
We have had our cats for the past 6 1/2 years. My husband has grown increasingly more allergic to
them. Even though he is on medication for allergies and asthma, the other morning he had a
life-threatening asthma attack; so the time has come for us to find new homes for them. They can be
placed together or separately (they do not spend a lot of time together).
Maggie is a female calico mix. She is 9 1/2 years old and weighs 11.5 pounds. She has a very sweet
temperament and is a loving companion. She would probably do best in a home where there are no
other cats, but she gets along fine with other cats. She would also be fine if placed with our
other cat Mooky. Her health is good, she is fixed and she is up on her shots. She eats a special
diet from the vet for weight control.
Mooky is a male black cat (possibly a Bombay). He is 6 1/2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He is a
loving cat, has a fun personality and is definitely a lap cat. He is a great companion. He would do
best in a home where there are no other cats, although he would be fine if he was placed with our

MINDY
MINDY
Mindy is a beautiful short-haired black female kitty with a little spot of white on her chest.
She is about 1 1/2 years and seven pounds. She is calm but very playful. She is in good health
and tested FIV/FeLV negative. She came from a lady who had one un-spayed female and before she
knew it she had 20 cats! Mindy had kittens herself and subsequently didn't have much of a chance
to be a playful young kitty herself. She is very smart - she was able to find food long distances
from her home. The owner of Mindy and the others left town a few months ago without them. She
needs a home where she will be with a least one other mild-mannered cat and where she will be
able to enjoy life!

MOLLY
MOLLY
Meet Molly. This petite 5-month-old girl was born in a garage in the hills of Beverly Hills, along
with her littermates, Jethro and Elly May, in July, 2007. Although her birthplace is known for
luxury and beauty, Molly faced a difficult life trying to find food while avoiding the many dangers
of her neighborhood. Brave Molly was very lucky to be rescued by a Good Samaritan, and now this
sweet gal is safe in a foster home. Molly is a happy kitten who likes to be held and petted, and
also likes to play and explore. She has a cute little chirp of a meow which is very endearing,
coupled with a lovely, rumbling purr. Molly especially loves to snuggle, groom and play with her
best kitty gal pal, Polly, who is also available for adoption. Molly would do best in a new home
with a kitty playmate. Molly would love to bring along her pal Polly, or will come into your home
alone if you have another kitty playmate awaiting her. Molly is spayed, tested, up-to-date on
vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped.
Mr. Lynx is an affectionate and beautiful Lynx Point mix who has the biggest head you've ever seen!
He lived on the streets of Hollywood for many years before being rescued, but you'd never guess
that now. Mr. Lynx is quite a character, with his sweet and mournful meow, irresistible face, and
wonderful personality. He is playful and gets along well with other cats. This big boy was born to
be a house cat, which he so obviously once was, so why not consider inviting this loving hunk of a
cat to your living room? Mr. Lynx is more than ready to begin living the good life again in his new
home! Mr. Lynx is neutered, tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Contact

PERSIAN
PERSIAN
I have a beautiful Persian female blue tabby that is in need of a good loving home. Heidi is
extremely docile and affectionate. She never scratches or bites. BUT, she needs to be in a quiet,
low-stress environment. She is scared of other cats and young children. She is 10 years old,
8 lbs., and spayed. A couple of years ago, she was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, but
as you probably know, something like 89% of Persians have the disease. She is not in kidney failure
yet and the vet said that we don't know if or when she ever will be, but since she is 10 years old
already, she probably doesn't have many years left anyway. She loves to be loved and will be great
for someone who has a lot of time on their hands and is looking for a sweet, loyal companion.
Please network, they go stir crazy in the one room I keep them in. They need to find their forever
home soon. They are 2 very sweet Tom Cats (around 5 years old) who will be a constant delight to
their new owner.
Polly is an adorable 3 1/2-month-old calico kitten, born in September, 2007, who wanted to be
rescued so desperately that she hitched a ride in the engine of a truck! As the driver was making
his delivery, Polly announced her arrival by meowing loudly until she was heard and pulled out,
and the rest is history. In spite of this scary experience, Polly is a playful, curious, and
affectionate purrball of a kitten who loves to roll on her back for tummy rubs and lick the hand
that pets her. She has a cute husky meow and a vibrant purr. This cuddly little girl will blossom
even more in her very own loving, forever home, where she'd do best with another kitty playmate.
Polly would love to bring along her kitty pal, Molly, or will come into your home alone if you have
another kitty playmate awaiting her. Polly is spayed, tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed
and microchipped. Contact

Hi, my name is Romeo and I need to find my loving forever home. I'm a four year old neutered Bengal.
I'm a little shy at first but I warm up very quickly. I love people and dogs! Im a little choosy
with cats so I would do best as the only cat in the home. I love getting pet and getting attention
from my people. I've been told I am very handsome and I would have to agree! There is a small
adoption fee of $50.00 to insure I go to a good home. I'm up-to-date on shots, de-wormed and
healthy.

SCOTTIE
SCOTTIE
Scottie is a flirtatious, charismatic and confident black and white tuxedo boy who has just about
everything going for him. He's outgoing, people-oriented, affectionate and absolutely charming.
The star of every adoption event he attends, Scottie stands at the front of his cage fawning over
everyone who looks his way. Scottie shamelessly makes a play for anyone who takes the time to come
visit him. He would love nothing more than to have a loving home of his own, preferably as your one
and only, or with a submissive kitty playmate already in residence. Scottie was rescued from a
restaurant parking lot in Atwater Village in the summer of 2007, and his foster mom reports that he
has been an absolute delight ever since. Scottie has a lot of love to give. This deserving cat just
needs someone to love him back. Scottie is neutered, tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed
and microchipped. Contact

TED & LOLA
TED & LOLA
Ted is the black one.
Lola is the one with the siamese-like markings.
They're brother & sister, both mixes of some sort. About 2 1/2 years old. Ted's bigger, but
they're both somewhere around 10 lbs.
Good with dogs and other cats.
Ted and Lola are rescued ferals who, even after much attempted socializing, remain shy and reserved.
However, when you give them a rubdown, they purr and knead and roll and love it! They are incredibly
close and we'd very much prefer that they be adopted together.
Tiger is a 10 year old 13 pound declawed and neutered male tabby cat. A true lap cat, he is an
extremely affectionate and friendly guy who lives for attention. He loves being brushed, pet, and
talked to. Tiger is very calm and will sit in his favorite spot all day waiting for you to come
home. He has been raised with a small dog and is okay with other cats (although he does prefer
females). Tiger is in great health and up to date on shots. He will be an excellent companion for
anyone who wants a cat in your lap and purrs when you come home.

WISHY
WISHY
I am moving into a dorm at the university in about 6 months. Cats are not allowed in the dorms so I
want to try and find a home for him instead of giving him to the local shelter. He is a 9-month-old
neutered male, long-haired siamese mix with bright blue eyes named Wishy. I got him from the
shelter where he was in a pretty bad condition and he was about to be euthanized so I'm sure that
he does not want to go back there again. He is a healthy little shy cat but very gentle. He will be
okay living with other cats.
It's breaking my heart to do this but since I am a student I cannot afford to live in a pet-welcome
apartment outside of campus. Please help me find him the home he so much deserves.

BARCLAY
Barclay is a very handsome Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab with a splash of chow mix, neutered male. A little
over 2 years old, 60 lbs in good health, housetrained and lots of energy. His tail is always wagging for
all people, he is good with kids and most dogs…but NO cats please. A high fence is a must. I am
fostering him, much to my cat's dismay, so he needs a loving permanent home soon that will let him be a
part of the family. You will fall in love like I did. He's a real gem!
