“Lucky Dog” Films at Pet Orphans

On Monday, July 28, 2014, the CBS show “Lucky Dog” filmed several scenes in one of the large buildings at Pet Orphan’s facility. Brandon McMillan, the host and professional dog trainer, worked with Rosie, a cute little Terrier mix, so she could be evaluated by the Pet Partners organization and become certified as a therapy dog for cancer patients. The show airs on CBS on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.

America’s Family Pet Expo in Orange County

Pet Orphans was an exhibitor at America’s Family Pet Expo in Orange County, the world’s largest pet and pet product event. It was held at the Orange County Fairgrounds Friday, 4/25 – Sunday, 4/27. Many of our poochies found homes that day! Tens of thousands of people attended! Lots of food, princess beds for pets and even a matching princess bed for the owner, a treadmill for dogs, a kissing booth to smooch your pooch, etc.! And great fun at the Weiner Dog Races — although one greyhound wore a hot dog bun to pretend he was a weiner dog!

Mojo on “Home & Family”

Some TV Celebrities found their “Mojo” … actually it was OUR Mojo from Pet Orphans of Southern California– the cutest and sweetest 2-year-old brindle puggle in the world. He was the “star” on the Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.”
It’s a miracle he’s even alive…. was hit by a car and left for dead on the side of the road. Pet Orphans rescued him and paid for his medical expenses. (He had internal injuries, broken bones and lost an eye.) Now he’s ready for his closeup! And forever home!
